Hello my name is Barry Smith and I am 31 years old with Cerebral Palsy.

Sometimes people can't understand what I am trying to say, so because of this I have a Lightwriter® to make sure I am always understood.

I find that the Lightwriter® SL40 helps me to communicate quicker, which in turn usually gets me what I want and need a lot quicker, and helps the person communicating with me to relax. This makes life a lot easier for both parties. Another good point about the Lightwriter® is that it is light to carry about. It enhances my life and is a good talking point as a great number of people find it fascinating.
